The ePod™ can manage 30 TPD (tons per day) of municipal solid waste (MSW) while delivering ~3–4 MWh of dispatchable power, which is typical for our modular gasification technology. With a compact footprint and rapid deployment capabilities, it can operate in grid-parallel or islanded modes. Notably, operations continue seamlessly without interruptions for cleaning. As part of our waste management solutions, the process produces char (biochar) at about 20% by mass. Additionally, the hot charcoal, reaching temperatures of up to 1000F, effectively cleans the syngas and breaks down fuel molecules into simpler components, primarily CO, CH4, and H2.

For MSW decontamination and odor control, we deploy a field-proven, three-part aqueous foam that chemically neutralizes a wide spectrum of volatile compounds and biological residues on contact. Applied as a clingy, low-runoff blanket, it suppresses off-gassing from mixed waste piles, transfer areas, and equipment surfaces while breaking down odor-causing molecules rather than just masking them. The formulation is non-flammable and rinses to a low-residue finish, making it suitable for rapid turnarounds and routine site hygiene.
For fire readiness, we use a compressed-air foam system capable of producing dense, long-throw foam with superior wetting and cooling compared to plain water. This allows fast knockdown of hot spots on tipping floors and waste stockpiles, durable perimeter lines for exposure protection, and efficient overhaul with reduced water usage and runoff. Our package includes hose/reel kits, nozzles for variable foam quality, on-site training, and SOPs integrated with operations so crews can prevent, contain, and extinguish incidents quickly.
Emissions are controlled via syngas cleanup and tested in accordance with local regulations, while residuals are managed to standard practices that align with waste management solutions.
